It is important for you to recognise that the antichrist is at work right where you would not expect him, and Scriptures regarding this are being fulfilled.
A few Scriptures mention the ill of those who entice the flock through material gain. This is happening before our eyes with the so-called ‘Prosperity Gospel’
It will do no good to the Church to mention any names, and it is not necessary at all. What you need to do is to explain to others that this is the ‘Great Falling Away’ which the Bible loudly speaks of and that we need to beware in case we lose our souls.
Other occurrences of the antichrist is the ‘Word of Faith’ belief that by speaking out loud, we can either defeat the devil or get what we claim.
Both these beliefs will be fatal to your soul if you practice them.
Lastly, I need to mention that the false prophet in Revelation chapter 13 is at large too. The Bible will be fulfilled in every detail. All those who teach the above philosophies of faith and who perform miracles are represented in Revelation 13.
We can sit back and watch these things take place. Watch out that we do not lose our own souls by following these practices and warn others about the fulfillment of these things.
LUKE 8:31 And they besought him that he would not command them to go out into the deep. – Devils are aware that there is a hell – a bottomless place for lost souls – ‘The Deep’ as they call it.
LUKE 6:19 “And the whole multitude sought to touch him: for there went virtue out of him, and healed them all.”
Jesus behaved in such a holy manner that his goodness brought healing to the people who touched him.
This is the only way healing happens. Oh yes, there are cases of supposed healing without holiness, but these can only be temporary, and they certainly do not produce love, kindness, &c.
We can anticipate an increase in this false type of healing as we draw near to the fulfillment of all things in Scripture.
MATTHEW 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 7:16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 7:17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 7:18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 7:19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
OBSERVE, ‘Prosperity’ teachers have infiltrated the true church. They promote fashionable conduct, which is sinful. They cannot help it. They will be judged eternally. SECONDLY, several of these false prophets have brought in the delusion of ‘Faith Confession’, which substituted wholesome prayer. The subject is encouraged to speak out loud as a command without any foundation of holiness.
HOLINESS is that Christian Perfection spoken of by Jesus MATTHEW 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
Perfect Obedience. God requires it. To be perfect, the only requirement is to be exactly like Jesus LUKE 6:40 The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master.
LUKE 6:26 Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.
These false prophets have gained popularity! and so they shall. But it will all be ended in the final judgement. Rejoice you who mourn. LUKE 6:46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
MATTHEW 13:40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.
MATTHEW 13:49 So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, 13:50 And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth
It will all be ended on the day of judgment, which is soon. Beware.
MATTHEW 8:29 And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time? - even the demons know there is coming a time of final judgment.
MATTHEW 7:22 Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached.
Miracles performed by Jesus proved that He was the Messiah, the Christ. It has been determined that after Christ shall come, many false christ’s will also do miracles in order to deceive people who reject Jesus’ commandments, so that they may utterly perish. This is happening today.
MATTHEW 11:25 At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.
The day of judgment is coming and the Lord of heaven and earth has only revealed this to the meek and the lowly. Everyone else carries on without the slightest idea that they will fall under the judgement of God. No, they don’t know. The boastful, the proud, the highminded, the haughty.
MATTHEW 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls
The Bible reveals that there are only two classes of person in the world. Which one are you?
MATTHEW 13:11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. 13:12 For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.
MATTHEW 13:15 For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.
Do your eyes see? Have you repented and are you converted?
Many people follow Jesus’ miracles and even do them only for the sake of the gain of the miracle. They are worldly and will end up betraying Jesus.
JOHN 6:26 Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled. 6:27 Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.
Those false prophets who dispute that Jesus Christ and his followers were not poor but rich have betrayed Jesus because of their corrupt idea that gain is godliness. This perverse idea is at the core of the ‘Prosperity’ teaching.
1 TIMOTHY 6:5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
Withdraw yourself. By associating yourself with them you are in direct conflict with the will of God.
